Chesapeake Perl, Inc., an emerging biotechnology company ,was in dire need of a highly specialized laboratory upon graduating from one of the State-sponsored incubators that we are so lucky to have in the area. Like most second stage companies, the Company was somewhat limited by its lack of cash.
Corridor was able to locate a sublease situation for the Company at below market rates and excellent terms that gave them a facility that would allow them to grow into their next stage of development. The new location also gave them an improved, more established image that could help them attract additional funding. Their transition into the new space has gone extremely well, and they remain a vibrant and growing company that has secured the additional funding they were seeking.
